I partnered with Apple to launch and grow a new branch within the Frameworks & Design Systems team that would work with global partners. My role combined systems thinking and hands-on design execution to develop scalable component libraries, refine documentation standards, and ensure brand-consistent experiences across platforms. By shaping both the processes and the output, we helped Apple drive design excellence at scale.

Impact

• Helped establish and scale a new branch within Apple’s Design Systems team

• Created component libraries and documentation that streamlined workflows across global design and engineering teams.

• Elevated design consistency and efficiency by introducing systematic frameworks and structured processes.

• Strengthened brand identity through pixel-perfect execution and scalable design solutions.

• Enabled faster delivery of high-quality digital experiences by bridging creative, product, and engineering disciplines.

Part of the job was to standardize and expand their frameworks, transforming scattered assets into a streamlined, scalable library. By consolidating templates, refining grids, updating assets, and improving documentation, we elevated design efficiency, consistency, and adoption across teams.

In a nutshell, I

  1. Refined grids to reflect current library standards, improving precision and scalability.
  2. Enhanced documentation to incorporate new lockups, including Apple Intelligence and evolving legal requirements.
  3. Updated and aligned assets to match the latest design libraries, ensuring consistency across deliverables.
  4. Expanded component libraries to address gaps and meet the needs of cross-functional teams.
  5. Consolidated redundant templates (e.g., reducing 24 to 12) to streamline workflows and support multiple grid layouts (6, 5, 4, 3, 2 columns).
  6. Refined toolkits to align with standardized templates, enabling seamless integration of banners and modular elements within marketing pages.
